Both Snow Summit and Bear Mountain boast professionally taught skiing and snowboarding lessons for beginners through experts, full service rental shops, fine food outlets, complete sport shops, full service bars and a complimentary shuttle service between the two resorts.

It is the place for everyday skiers and riders looking for a family friendly laid-back winter playground. Snow Summit is home to fantastic beginner slopes like the Bear Bottom beginner's area, low intermediate runs such as Summit Run, wide intermediate cruisers such as Miracle Mile and Log Chute and challenging advanced terrain on the Wall, Dicky's and Olympic. Snow Summit's wide variety of interconnecting runs allows you to explore the entire mountain without ever returning to the base area! Snow Summit's terrain parks offer yet another exciting challenge for the whole family. World famous Westridge Park, Ego Trip, Skyline Creek Fun Zone and the Zzyzx Park and Half-pipe contain a variety of beginner and intermediate jumps and jibs for skiers and snowboarders alike. Guests are also able to extend their fun-filled day into the evening. Snow Summit offers night sessions on most Friday, Saturday and holiday evenings from 3:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
